You can begin the process of Temple of the Goddess Affiliation by:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Step One<\/em><\/strong>: Dream and Vision<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Determine your vision.\u00a0 Dream of the Temple or spiritual home that would inspire you.\u00a0 Ask yourself what that Temple would be like.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Step Two<\/em><\/strong>: Gather and Communicate<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Call together those people that you share a spiritual practice with.\u00a0 This spiritual family is essential to the creation of a Temple.\u00a0 Ask them to bring their own vision of a Temple or spiritual home.\u00a0 Listen respectfully knowing that communication includes the art of listening as well as speaking.\u00a0 Let the vision expand and contract with those you\u2019ve called together.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Step Three<\/em><\/strong>: Design and Develop<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Develop an overall sense or statement of mission with people who are inspired by your dream. Answer the all-important question: “Why would your new congregation serve the community better than the churches that are already there?”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Step Four:<\/em><\/strong> Divine<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In reflection and prayer, find the answer to the question: “What does Spirit want me to do?”<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Step Six<\/em><\/strong>: Choose<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Decide on which model of congregational development your new congregation will\u00a0 follow.
