Nine Muses is a nonprofit multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural, educational and arts advocacy organization that raises consciousness about the human condition and explores the connection between art, healing, and spirituality.  Nine Muses seeks to explore the boundless expressions of human consciousness–the mind, the spirit, the subconscious, the imagination and the soul–those aspects of humanity which are informed by the collective myth, stories, and dreams.  

Nine Muses’ purpose is to promote creative expression which enlightens–shines a light on the human condition–past, present, and future through all the arts including, but not limited to:  visual arts, music, dance, theatre, performing arts, ritual arts, film, interdisciplinary arts, live arts, literary arts including poetry and spoken word, festivals, the emerging and experimental arts, and multi-media.  Our goal is to provide a space for the artistic voice of community to come together in support of one another.

Our Values

We believe art and culture are essential to the individual, the community, and the world. Art, in all its forms, is a universal form of human communication, a basic and essential component of free expression. The interaction between artist and audience is indispensable to the mind and spirit.

We believe that art is a universal language which unites all people. For society to  flourish, we must have artistic diversity and inclusiveness. By embracing all human experience, seeing our commonalities and honoring our differences, we strengthen society and the world.
